Our commitment

Mr. Ed's Plumbing & Rooter Service is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of disability or the technology they browse with. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have built in

• A skip-to-content link so keyboard users can jump straight past the navigation.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element.
• Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields with proper labels, and errors announced in text rather than by colour alone.
• Full support for prefers-reduced-motion — all animation is disabled if your system asks for it.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body text and interface elements.
• A persistent call button on mobile, so reaching us never depends on navigating the menu.

Known limitations

• The embedded Google Map on our contact page is a third-party component and its accessibility is outside our control. The same address and directions are available as plain text alongside it.
• Our promotional video does not currently have captions or a transcript. If you need the content in another format, call us and we will talk you through it.
